Interested in transactional but struck out. What do I do?

I am above median at a T14. I had a lot of interviews and callbacks but I didn’t get an offer. I want to do transactional work. I don’t really know what sub field but something in it. I don’t even know what I should target now. What type of jobs? When should I apply?
