i need help for vargas in the gba..

i don’t know what i’m doing wrong anymore i’ve been trying for ages and i’m losing over and over and over no matter how many guides i follow is not helping at all.. i usually think it’s a problem with the dpad and that’s why it keeps saying: “incorrect blitz command input!” no matter how well i do the command it always fails.. what can i do?
