What are the playtime EXP rates?

I'm curious on the mechanics of how playtime EXP works. From what I could find it was that depending on the mode you just get free exp just for being in it passively, if I'm reading it right. So like, if you play Lego Odyssey, you get 2850 XP every minute up to 4 million a week. Am I understanding that right, cause it sounds like a very high rate.
