The point of a sawed off shotgun?
I am having trouble trying to figure out why anyone would ever choose to have a sawed of 12-gauge over the regular one. They do the same base damage, but the sawed off has a worse range. They have the same uses per round, bullets in gun, and malfunction. Plus, the sawed off has N/A for its cost, making it not commercially available and therefore harder to get. So with all of this I have to ask, is there something I’m missing here? It feels like there might be some advantage to using a sawed off that Im just not considering. If anyone can offer any insight as to why someone would want the sawed off over the normal 12-gauge that would be very appreciated.
