Starting career off with debt and stress
I graduated law school and am preparing to take the Feb bar. But, law school was tough financially. I had a few moments (car wreck, everything in house breaking) that put me in a do or die situation. In total I have around 10K debt with credit card companies and a collections agency for the wreck and I am in the middle of a foreclosure.
I started working and getting current on everything. It's been nice to actually not feel choked out for a second. I have a job lined up post bar with my current employer too. Im just so stressed they wont let me sit for the bar. Really stressed. Before law school I didn't have debt and I had a great credit score now I look like I sell meth.
Needed to vent and hopefully hear about other folks who had to tell the bar how broke and destitute they were and were still allowed to sit. I'm disclosing everything, I'm currently working with creditors. I'm trying to be mature. It just looks like I live in a van down by the river. And it is hurting my soul.
