Gas mileage???

(‘21 base model) For a while have been driving my baby and have been wondering if well am I just a bad driver or is the mileage really that bad? Looked it up and apparently it doesn’t go beyond 22-29 per galon and I think thats a little silly. Don’t get me wrong I love my car but geez man
