Is Liberation Peak just a bad map?

I mean it looks very impressive but why is one team's base on top of a mountain where they just literally parachute on certain flagpoints while the other team has to run uphill while being sniped on from the top base. Seems like a very poorly balanced map when I see people parachute over my head every 10 seconds right onto our flagpoint.
