when to apply to residency programs

Feeling extremely anxious about applying to a new grad residency I feel like I’m too late or too early. I graduate in October and Im only seeing one hospital with what seems like a rolling residency. Im scared I neither missed all the other hospital openings or I’m just too early for Fall/Winter residencies. I will most likely start working in December. Any advice????? i’m in NJ for reference. any help is appreciated!
