best Lebanese art/movie/books...? to get in touch a bit more with my roots

Hello everyone,

I am French (of lebanese origin) and looking for some movies/books/poetry/art recommendations to get to know Lebanon and its culture more in depth. (I work in the cinema and art industry so i am ready for your list!)

I have already read and watched a lot but I wanna learn even more and I always get amazing recommendation whenever I met lebanese people ! Looking forward to yours ☺️ thank you !!

Of course, this is until I can visit the country one day and experience it by myself ~

some context :

My mom was born in Lebanon in 1971 but illegally sent and adopted in France as a baby, therefore we (unfortunatly) did not grow into lebanese culture.

I have tried for the last 5 years to find info about my biological family on my mother side but no luck, the closest relatives i found refuse to answer me and help me. At least I collected info that lead me to learn this : -my mom has half lebanese dna, half armenian dna -lebanese relatives from the DNA test are christian maronite (also could explain why she was sent to France)

I have now mourned and accepted the fact that I will never meet my biological lebanese family BUT I am not giving up on retracing those roots ! I still really wanna learn about the culture more, until I can visit Lebanon.
