Signs from Hecate?

I’m someone that just recently completely deconstructed from Christianity. However, if I’m being honest, the deconstruction process had been gradual over the last few years. I’m becoming interested in deities and polytheism. Specific deities I’m feeling drawn to are Hecate and Artemis, but particularly Hecate. The other night I was really praying for some sort of sign that deepening my interest in Hecate (and ultimately working with her) is right for me. The next day I came across a dead moth outside my workplace on my way to my car (I never see moths around my workplace), and it couldn’t have been more than three to five minutes after that a big black dog in a truck that was driving past me was sticking his head out the window and was barking. Of course these things could all be coincidences. But the way they both happened within minutes of each other during this span of time I’ve been hoping for a sign stands out to me. That isn’t the only time I’ve seen something with a moth and a dog that has stood out to me. Almost five years ago one of my family’s dogs passed away very suddenly, and it really affected me. We have a painting of three of our family dogs that someone gifted us, and the day after our girl passed I saw a moth on the painting hanging on the wall. The moth was sitting on the chest area of the same dog that passed, and it sat directly over where her heart would be. The way the moth was sitting looked so heart-shaped too, and I was stunned. I took a picture of it and have always considered it to be one of the most spiritual moments of my life. I’m sorry for the long ramble! I feel like I’m getting so caught up in needing a sign to validate that this is right for me.
