Circumstances suck in Dating

I am on a Uni/holiday trip and met a cute guy in Denmark (am german). We hit it off, hes funny, smart, attractive and we vibe. I knew the distance was going to be a problem but I basically decided to go with the flow.

Welp, left dennark after two days and for the rest of the trip we have been chatting/calling every evening until a few days ago where he said he might want to dial it down to a friendship before the feelings get too strong because he doesn't want to do long distance.

Now he's sad, I'm sad and I don't even feel like I can talk to my friends who are on this trip with me because I got to keep the mood up. The only person who I feel like gets me is the guy and I cant talk to him because that would make things worse.

I just wish I could move to denmark or the nordics already (am planning to do so next year) because I am tired of my city and most of the people I vibe with have left my city or live in the nordics in general. And now the guy thing. But I have to finish my degree.

Yeah thats my vent. Do really feel like crying rn.
