Looking for a roommate

I just now got to apply for housing On-Campus and it seems like everyone already has roommates already. Is anyone else still looking for roommates right now?

If not, does anyone know if they would pair me up with the opposite gender? My parents really don’t want me to have guy roommates which is mostly why i’m looking for one right now.
