Zep + Metformin?

My PA recently switched me to Zepbound and wants to add Metformin as well. Is anyone taking this combo now and how has adding Metformin changed your weight loss results compared to just Zepbound? For background, I was pre-diabetic when starting in February at 284 lbs. I am now 240 lbs and taking a 10.0 dosage for an average loss of 1.7 a week. I am thrilled with my current progress as I am trying to avoid a lot of excess skin later so I don’t want to lose too quickly. (Of course I would love to be at goal weight already without all the work, but I understand that isn’t realistic.) Thanks for any insight you can share.
