Pride of Your First Compliment

I just built my first watch a few weeks ago. I ended up wearing it to a tailgate and a guy I just met looked at my watch and, with his eyes wide open, said “wow, that’s a nice watch”. I told him I built it myself and he still looked enthused. I noticed that he had a high end watch on, so I was wondering if he would look down on it (didn’t care and wasn’t worried if he did, just curious). But it struck up a cool conversation. Needless to say, I was extremely proud.
