[M4F][M4A] The Art Class

Over the past year or so, life had gotten... stale. Sure, I had a good job that paid well, a nice social life, and was in the best shape of my life after spending a decent amount of time in the gym - yet sometimes things felt mundane, overly structured and routine. Wake up and go to work, head to the gym, have dinner and get my eight hours of sleep, then start all over the next day. Not that there is anything wrong with being regimented, but every now and then it lead to a slight insanity and looking for a change.

I didn't have to look all that hard to find something to break up the monotony of my day-to-day life, encountering an ad for an art class that wasn't too far from my apartment, meeting every other Friday evening, and offering wine samplings to go along with it. Finger-painting was my skill level when it came to art, but trying something new, picking up a hobby, meeting some new people and maybe becoming decent at some forms of art was an interesting possibility, and a few glasses of wine was a nice bonus as well!

The first few classes were simple, sketching and painting a bowl of fruit, a few flowers in a vase, the sunset outside the little studio that hosted the gatherings, all while getting to know some of the other regulars and a night out of the house. As the class was wrapping up one night, we were told next meeting we'd be moving up to some 'life works' art, more than just fruits and flowers but an actual human subject... if they could secure a model.
