Starting swimming classes from next week - Skincare Advice for first time swimmer?
I havent entered a pool in almost 10 years and I decided to get over my fear and start classes from next week, but I'm prone to cystic acne and I need advice on what I should be doing to take care of my skin.
Will chlorine water mess up my skin? ( I have 2-3hr classes in a week)
For early morning classes, should I do my routine both before and after swimming?
Im using a salycylic acid cleanser. will the exposure to chlorine strip my skin further? or is it ideal if I just rinse + moisturise in the morning and then only use the cleanser at night?
What do I do about spf? It is an outdoor pool.
Ive seen people in this sub mention that using coconut oil helps protect your hair while swimming. Do I put it on before or after swimming? (Im guessing its fine if I put coconut oil while Im wearing a swim cap)
Thanks in advance :))
