Issues with page numbers & percentage footers

Hey guys. So I have the 16 GB kindle, which I got earlier this year. I haven’t had any issues with it until just a few days ago. The footers have completely disappeared for some reason. It’s no longer showing me the percentage I’m through, nor is it showing page numbers at the bottom. It just completely disappeared for some reason. I’ve already tried restarting my kindle & I’ve tried looking through the settings, but I can’t seem to get it back. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I know I didn’t turn anything off, it literally just vanished. Thanks!
