36F seeking platonic friends

Hello,

I'm not sad, lonely, or bored. I'm just a 36F looking for platonic buddies by throwing a wide net and seeing what I catch.

My ideal for this is friends who can banter/joke/shit talk. I love dry senses of humor, and dad jokes.

My favorite dumb joke is: what's the difference between a well-dressed man on a unicycle and a poorly dressed man on a bicycle? Attiire.

I get that a lot of humor is lost in text but I'd rather try messaging here first then moving to Discord if we vibe.

I'm nerdy. I like books (mainly fantasy, romance, history,) and comic books (currently working through my backlog of DC comics, cool indies, and a sprinkling of Marvel.) Green Arrow, Swamp Thing, and Beast are my favorite comic characters. I like video games (story-driven games with choice mostly.) I'm also trying to get back into board games (which are great for aforementioned shit talking.)

I like good movies and bad movies. I'll see basically everything, regardless of how much I think I'll like it, because I like analyzing the story. I get to pretend I'm a script doctor. I'm a sucker for so bad they're funny moments. (The newest Jurassic World, for example, opens with product placement that kills everyone and I think that's pretty funny.)

I'm on EST time but I'm around more in the morning/afternoon.
