Can you let chaos burn itself out?

If we know chaos comes from the emotions and actions of living beings, and chaos usually results in death to almost all mortals when they get control. Is it possible to retreat into a pocket of space surrounded by black stone and let chaos kind of sweep across the rest of the galaxy kind of how wild fires burn them selves out eventually and then emerge after they have weakened from lack of worship to a fresh start? Like move the golden throne to a new world in a zone away from chaos. Surround it with black stone and just wait out the storm so to speak.

Also thanks for the responses
