Need some help on how to spend more responsibly
Not sure if this is the best place to post this so let me know if I should post somewhere this somewhere else. Also sorry for the long question I didn’t edit much it probably could’ve been shorter.
I have racked up some debt, nothing crazy, but I’d like to clear it all soon. After some calculations (I can lay it all out if needed) I believe that my most expensive month I should only be spending $1150, and I make about 2k per month. However, I am constantly eating out and buying small unnecessary things, which end up with me having very little (if anything) to put towards paying off debt or savings. The main things that are killing my account balance is eating out for lunch every day (usually costs me about $15-$25), having at least 1 energy drink per day, and usually going out to eat for dinner. I know I should go grocery shopping but I can’t seem to make myself make meals at home and pack lunches. How do I become more responsible, and are there any resources I could use to make a grocery list that would be things that are easy for taking to work and preparing?
