Is S2 AOTC still possible?

The text of the achievement says to kill heroic gally "before the release of the next raid tier" which doesn't come out until Tuesday. On the other hand m0 champion gear is decently higher than s2 mythic gear. That along with the cloak means it's already possible to push characters beyond what was obtainable with a s2 ilvl. So broad question, does anyone know definitively one way or the other if killing h Gally between now and tuesday will still grant AOTC or has the release of s3 gear and m0 lead to the achievement being removed?
