[PC][2005-2010] Browser based narrative puzzle game

I'm looking for an online puzzle game where the chapters are unlocked each week. Each chapter is a still image, but you can also click on the individual items to read more description about them. The answer to the puzzle is often a word, and some chapters are linked together.

I remember the first chapter has a girl, a mathematician, an ourobouros and an abacus.
