Magic deck types

OK SO I searched far and wide about this but i found none except a lot of people talking about things I don't understand yet or using terms Idk

Btw I'm a complete beginner ( I know basic rules and some more things but please assume that I know nothing )

So I want to deckbuild but I don't know anything about colors and what they do or deck types or what decks and decks types win a lot and what decks are trash ( idk if that's relevant or not but Idk what is archetypes, is it THIS or is it something similar or what?), color combos, playstyles, all

And how do you know if you're opponent plays x deck because I see people when playing say: " oh this guy plays the × deck"

Please share any info that might be helpful that I did or did not mention..

Also I couldn't find any guide that explains these things they just explain the rules of mtg
