Reaching out to victim’s loved ones?

Hi all! I am the cohost of an occupational safety and health podcast that covers usually fatal workplace incidents. We are very victim oriented but what most people don’t know is that there is often little to no information about the victims of workplace fatalities. Sometimes we can’t even find their names though we try like hell to find them, their obituaries, their facebooks, anything.

My question for you all, is if this was your loved one we were covering would you want us to contact you to ask questions or to let you know that someone out there cares and is talking about what happened to them? Or would you want to be left alone or not even have the story be told?
