Applying to Australia

I want to apply to australia and want to go in the july intake. However my parents are pushing me to take the Feb intake so that I can spend a bit more time w them. My counsellor also suggests that I go in the Feb intake since thats when most international students go.. Now I tried to convince my parents by saying that its better to not take a risk and go w my predicted grades sicne my school usually inflates them a bit rather than my actual grades bcoz who knows what might happen!!

What are ur opinions on this? Should I go insist on going w my predicted scores or should I risk it and go with the actual results in Feb? I'm really confused in this matter and would love yalls help
