Anyone in Pflugerville ever get blindsided by a tax letter and not know what the next step was?

I’m in Pflugerville and just got a letter saying I owe back taxes and I feel completely lost. I thought everything was fine with my returns but apparently not. It said something about consequences if I don’t take action soon. I’ve been looking online and now I’m more overwhelmed. So many places saying they do tax relief or resolution but I don’t know which one I need or who I can trust. Has anyone local in Pflugerville ever gone through this and actually found someone to help? I’d feel better hearing from someone nearby before I call anyone.
