Does a type of Condom actually matter for sex?

I’ve heard a friend say that he never really used to check which condoms he used and would always buy the “dotted” ones until yesterday when told me that he had better erections with the “air” condoms💀 I asked another friend the about the same and he told me he had a better experience with the normal flavoured ones. Which type of condoms do you think helps last long? Is it actually a thing?
