Keeps crashing during first loading screen

I genuinely have no idea what the problem could be, I downloaded the mod off the steam workshop page and set the game to 1.37.5 like it says to on the page and have no other mods enabled. However when I launch it I get to the very first loading screen after the title initial screen and then without fail it crashes. Also I already checked to see if it was a launcher issue like what it says on the page but that file they said to delete wasn’t in my folder so I don’t think it’s that. What am I missing or doing wrong?
