[LotM V8] the ending + took me about 25 days of reading to complete this

the ending fuck, i did NOT expect it to hit me this hard. the talks with everyone from tarot club, audery leaving her family, alger getting his ship back and leaving.

him playing cards with maric and sharron just watching it with her face held with one hand, all of these small moments hit so fucking hard. miss bodyguard has to be one on my fav characters, i fell in love with her and kleins interactions a lot. she doesn't speak much but easily top 10 character for me if not top 5.

derrick getting responsibilities made me see a bit of colin in him lol, which was nice. saw this lil kid grow up.

loved how emlyn just went "meh he's sleeping, good eep" lmao, normal for them vamps
miss hermit realizing she cant be a small girl without responsibilities was also a nice thing, kinda a reminder for myself as well.

also every time i see a golden monocle ill have ptsd now ffs. he's the best fucking villain i have seen in all of fiction. he prolly stole this too. needed a fucking supernova to kill this mf.

mr azik waking up from his sleep right after klein went to his is kinda heart sinking somehow, him finding the letters piled up just amplified this feeling.
"eternal student, klein moretti" is a line that stuck with me ever since it was used,

also in mr aziks letter where he said "From the beginning, you've been a guardian. You mimicked others until you were mimicked by others." is something i can never forget. this just describes klein so well, and it just shows he got klein well.
worthy of having an eternal student.

ill prolly wait for a month or so, maybe more before i start COI. i need to, i HAVE to wait for a while before i can read anything to "digest" all this. during this i plan on re reading small moments which i liked, stuff like klein returning from the sea and being in the carriage with ma'am sharron and just talking about his adventures while she listens, Gehrman sparrow being an absolute madman, a lot of first volume where dunn is there, crazy how he still stuck with the readers even after like 1k chapters of not being there. ill re read some tarot gathering since theyre good as always. ill go over amon taking klein to Chernobyl too that was pretty fun.

such a good piece of fiction, a lot of moments will stay close to my heart forever. can never forget that
