Rewatching the National Championship
Was lucky enough to there in Atlanta and I hadn't watched it back until today.
OSU's offense was unstoppable in the first half, and credit to their defense for adjusting and stopping our run game. We also made great adjustments on both sides of the ball, keeping them tame.
On the play that finished the game, I can't help but feel like a Cover 0/1 7-man blitz on 3&11 was too much. Watts was caught on no-man's land (should've probably been a Cover 2) and Howard had an easy read on Shuler. I feel like it was an option for Harrison between a 10 yard gain and a deep throw - I don't blame Gray but he was caught trying to prevent the first down (maybe Moore should've been on Harrison from the start?).
It wasn't a hard watch as I expected. Proud of our boys and excited for next season. GO IRISH!
