Logan is the final dc5 cast member and if you disagree you’re being delusional

Yes the title is a James reference.

He is the very very VERY obvious choice and I simply can’t comprehend why anyone would think otherwise. Here are the reasons why I think so.

1. Gender balance. Probably the least relevant one, but still worth mentioning. I know Jared has said multiple times that he doesn’t care about gender balance when picking his casts but it would be kinda weird that the fans are 6 girls and 6 boys but the favorites are 7 girls and 5 boys.

2. He’s a favorite in universe. You don’t need to analyze the season a lot to notice that he’s written to be a fan favorite. The thumbnails, his dialogues, his design, the numerous attempts of making him adorable and likeable. We need to remember that this is Jared’s universe, so it’s up to him to decide which characters are canonically likeable. And the writing of Logan makes it obvious that he is.

3. He’s Jared’s favorite. All the main boys of Disventure Camp except Alec have been physically attractive and involved in mlm ships (Jake, Aiden, Spencer) And Logan fits the criteria. He also is favored by the narrative, a treatment that only Jared’s favorites get, with his moments of hypocrisy never being called out and constantly painted as if he’s in the right or deserving of sympathy (Jake, Riya, Anastasia).

4. Mathlete. Dc1 and dc2 both have duos that are probably getting their storylines worked on, and unless they bring back Hannah to give us more of her friendship with Benji, Logan and Spencer’s friendship/relationship is the most obvious option if they’re going to keep working on a dc4 storyline. To me their ending felt weird and unfinished, so they’re probably bringing them both back to keep working on their storyline. Also remember their kiss? it was basically soft porn. Jared loves them.

The only other characters I could see coming back would be Zaid and Amelie, because the other girls already had big and important storylines in the current season, so I don’t see the point in bringing them back. But even with that in mind, I still think Logan is a more likely pick that Zaid and Amelie.
