Bugged GTA IV mission

On the mission "Blow Your Cover" after shooting the set of enemies on the 3rd floor of the building you go to for the mission, Playboy refuses to move. It also means I can't kill the set of enemies on the lower floors because it'll consider me to have "abandoned" Playboy even tho he's in the same goddamn building as me. Any help on how to fix this issue is much appreciated.

I don't think it matters but I play on an Xbox Series X so maybe that is affecting something?
