Novel about memory loss/amnesia and identity

Hi everyone

This if my first thread on this community so I hope that I do it right.

There is this theme that I like a lot about memory loss and the quest of the character's identity.

For example I read recently City of Illusions by Ursula K le Guin (I enjoyed it) or when I was younger KJ Parker Scavenger trilogy (but only 2 were translated and I don't remember much ironically).

I'd like to have your recommandations for this theme considering the fact that I read classic litterature and philosophy mainly which means that I expect some quality in the writing and the depth of the book (young adult genre is not for me).
