Anyone have to avoid sugar with low ferritin but recovered?

For the first time in my life when I eat high sugar I get strong heart thudding. My ferritin was 10. I've never experienced issues with blood sugar levels. Anyone else go through this? I assume my body will re normalise when ferritin is fixed
