Suing health insurance

Location: North Carolina

My cousin was trying to get a parish for a MRI or CAT scan of her breasts as she was suspected of having beast cancer. BCBSNC denied it and delayed treatment because they said she did not have any markers for breast cancer (although she did have a small mass that she was having monitored for years). As it turns out she had breast cancer and because treatment was delayed she ended up losing her nipple. I’m probably missing a lot but this is the gist of things. Can anyone recommend a lawyer? Would anyone pickup this case?
