Feeling like a social pariah?
Idk how to articulate it but it’s such a weird feeling to simultaneously be feeling happy and confident in my body for once but to also really. Not have anybody to talk to about it. Idk there’s still a bunch of shame and stigma in detransitioning. The right uses it as ‘proof’ that we were ‘just confused’ and a lot of queer spaces are either uncomfortable with me at best or outright hostile at worst and I get scared sometimes. To be honest. I still have a lot of the same needs as trans people (HRT, and also bodily autonomy and the right to self-expression in general, and I absolutely still am read as trans societally). It’s just really lonely and I miss feeling a strong sense of community and not feeling like a traitor. I don’t feel I fit in mostly anywhere at this point I feel unpalatable to both cis and trans communities, idk how to explain it. I am really not trying to insinuate that it’s worse for me. It’s just scary and isolating and lonely and I wish there was space for me to exist in most lgbtqia+ spaces without others getting visibly uncomfortable around me. Idk
