Lump and discolouration above my bettas gill

Hey

Bought this guy about 3 weeks ago and recently I've noticed a lump and some discolouration around his gill.

He seems OK and is eating and swimming OK he is a dumbo so he does spend alot of time resting on something but I'm worried it could possibly be a cyst?

Amy advise would be appreciated.
