Should I switch my order to a hybrid over Gas on the LE model?

We’re deciding on either getting the LE, LE Upgrade package or just simply going to hybrid. We drive about 12,000 KM.

I’m not to familiar with Hybrids but from a mechanical standpoint will they require more maintenance or more expensive long term? Obviously with the LE upgrade we gain additional features like heated steering wheel, etc. We’re hoping to keep this thing for 15+ years and have as little maintenance as possible.

Not sure what type to go with.
