Electric/funk/grove/boogie

Slowly losing my sanity, im searching for this song where a manly singer is saying something in the lines of "we gonna do the electric funk it" or something like it, i remember having this on a cd back in the days, its been used a few years as music from NHL/World icehockey, its from 90' early 2000's music, and im getting these " dreadlock/afro vibes" every time this song comes to my head, but i havent been able to find it yet, i know its a long shot .. (Its not the Eddy Grant one im looking for)
Best regards, Michael
