Can a person get TPD Discharge on partial disability?

I was wondering if anyone has received TPD on partial disability. They are so backlogged currently, it seems like I won't hear from them until next year.

I get the same canned responses, "It will take a month and you will receive a letter." Several months have passed and no letter.
