Gourmet Pet not getting hungry?

I have been playing neopets daily for about a year and a half now. I have a chomby that’s a gourmet pet and up until this week was always hungry. I know that some foods leave them full longer but this week has been Jelly themed foods. They get fed one a day for the daily quests. Somehow they have gone from starving to bloated.

Are jelly foods special to chombies or something? Has anyone noticed their pets filling faster lately?
