Accuracy of infotainment boost numbers?

Hey all, I have an un-tuned 2019 GLI (with an open intake) and I am wondering what numbers others are seeing on the built-in boost gauge in the "Car" section of the infotainment system. I am regularly seeing 30+psi on it, and as far as I can tell, these engines don't produce anywhere near that when stock (and the sensors actually cap out at 30pis, so I should never be seeing 30+). It also floats around 5.5-6psi at idle, so I am thinking it isn't reading correctly. Anyone else experience this?
