Would BF 2042 be good entry into the battlefield before BF6 launch?

Call of duty refugee here. After watching the beta weekend for BF6 I’ve decided I want to convert to being a BF player and leave COD behind. Since the game isn’t out for another 2 months, which battlefield game would be good to sort of “warm up” for the release of BF6? I want to get a feel for battlefield since I’m so used to how COD plays.
