Dumb mistakes

Discussion

Spent the last year or so working on a few original circuits. Probably cycled through LTspice and the breadboard 10-20 times each. Finally drew up some manufacturing files in kicad, checking them at least 5 times. Got all the boards, wired them up, and discovered the drain voltage on the jfets never show below 9v, that's weird. Go back to my files and realize I switched the gate and source on the custom jfet footprint I made and my face falls flat on the floor. Thankfully I can just twist the legs around to get them working but I can't help but kick myself.

Just goes to show no matter how much you QA there always seems to be some dumb little mistake that rears its ugly head. Anyone else have a good story?
