What is it with so many European influencers traveling to New York City for "work"...
I doubt that many of them even possess the correct type of visas to do the type of work in NYC that they're doing. Considering how serious and strict the US immigration, CBP and ICE have gotten, I am astounded by the number of European influencers who publicly post about "visiting NYC for work", when they're clearly using an ESTA/tourist visa. If they're doing paid sponsorships, or anything that can be considered to be trade, they have to legally ensure that they have a visa for this.
For reference, I am European, and spent some time in the US as an international student. Whenever I visit these days, I go on an ESTA, but honestly, even that makes me nervous considering the political situation at the moment; and I don't even have anything to hide. I cannot fathom the ignorance and stupidity by some of these people. It's really giving the same energy as not sorting out their taxes properly, thinking they'll get away with it.
