british tech tree destroyers

I just started to grind the british destroyers from scartch at all.I had some free xp that allowed me to get up to t7 with the Jervis. The thing is i never played destroyers before im a BB main so i wanted to know how do they play how i should play at all and any tips and tricks to make my grind easier.I heard they are the most begginer friendly so i gave them a try.Im going to play the artic convoy operation from now and then i intend to move to randoms.anything is much appreciated
