Aside from Pakistan, Is there a plausible way to solve the a border dispute with China?

I have seen everyone talking about that this dispute needs to be resolved but not a single proposal on what possible ways can it be solved.

I know Pakistan is hopeless but can anything be done about China or they are the same?
