Golf Towels....
I'm a new golfer so all my gear is new, too. New clothes, new shoes, nice shiny white vegan leather Sunday big rig s class bag that is easy to keep clean with a magic eraser.
So when it comes to towels I have two of those magnetic ones; in royal blue and black, and a cool Gfore one with a big skull.
Before my round starts I will always soak the blue one in water and fold it in half so it retains the moisture. Letting it hang will only dry it out. I use that during the round to wipe the mud and dirt off the club face and balls as needed. I use the black one to dry them.
The Gfore is just for show - and also creates a barrier between my clean white bag and the dirty towels.
Well, this past friday I golfed with a buddy and he had one old towel from forever ago and he really didn't have a strategy about it or anything - it was sort of an afterthought.
For me it's different I guess because I'm wiping my clubs down every time I'm putting them back in the bag.
I saw the pro I take lessons with drive by on his cart the other day and he had three towels, too.
So I'm curious how normal people operate with their towels during the round - what does everyone else do?
