Power source conversion

Hey, fam. So, I’m not a builder, I’ve just been creeping around the past few years because I love this shit. So I’m kind of asking to know what I’m getting into if I’m asking someone to do this job at some point.

How difficult would it be to remove a power cord and convert to an AC adaptor, or just add an AC adaptor to a Providence SDT-1? I’d probably prefer a cleaner look, getting rid of the cord all together and using that hole for the AC adaptor if that’s possible.
