new pc help

hi guys! would love some help here!! i’ve never built my own pc before. i have one right now that my brother built me for my birthday about 4 years ago, but it’s quite honestly the worst pc anyone has ever seen and it has been since he built it for me (he even admitted this 😂) i can include specs if anyone is interested but that’s not the point of this post lol.

i LOVE having a pc, i use it all the time. it’s not to say its “unusable” because i can still use it, but my second monitor has decided to not display anything, i can’t use the search bar, the windows key doesn’t work, and every time i log in, a “.NET framework initialization error” comes up, and i can’t run any games. this isn’t even remotely close to the strangest issue i’ve run into with it but this is just my breaking point and i’m tired of these issues. i don’t even wanna try to fix it anymore at this point lol

it seriously always has some sort of brand new obscure issue that the internet has never even seen and i’ve never been able to figure out anything with it and i’ve had to factory reset many many times. safe to say i think it’s time for a new one. my brother has moved out, and even when i call him for help, he doesn’t want to help or he’s busy.

i wouldn’t mind a prebuilt or even building my own (i’m sure i could youtube it) i just want to make sure i am getting good parts for the price i’m paying. my pc knowledge is limited lol but i’m totally willing to learn! where do i even start with this? what do i do with my old parts? could i reuse any of them? would anyone here be able to help me out a little? literally any help at all would be greatly appreciated! thank you guys in advance!
